ABOUT ME
I came to this work because I saw young people experiencing intense judgment and internalizing it in ways that caused more harm than growth. As I continue to engage people in therapy, I hear people describe themselves as broken when what they actually are is adapted — carrying strategies that once kept them safe and now cause them stress.
My style is warm, authentic, and direct. I'll reflect what I notice, I'll ask the question under the question, and I'll tell you honestly if I think something isn't working. I find so much satisfaction in helping people be seen and heard — through this connection, there is a good chance we will laugh together.
Clinically, I'm trained in EMDR, IFS, DBT**, and Motivational Interviewing, among other modalities, and I maintain an existentially curious approach that centers client’s values.
Outside of my work, I am a mother of two youngsters, love to read, garden, swim in rivers, do yoga and appreciate art.

WHO I WORK WITH
My background is primarily in working with teens and their families and I am thrilled to widen my practice to young adults and couples of all ages. The truth is, I love people and find tremendous joy in learning about each individual’s unique and brilliant story.
I am affirming of people of all cultural backgrounds, people who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ spectrum, and people with alternative relationship and family structures, including non-monogamy, divorced and blended families and anyone forging their own path. I don’t believe there is a right way to love or live in this world and my role in your life will be to help you to find connection and fulfillment in your relationships and within yourself.
WHERE I WORK
My offices are located at the HIVE (Home of Intentional Vision for Equity), which is an emerging community space founded in 2025 by the local chapter of the NAACP, and offers spaces for collaboration between non-profit and community organizations.
The HIVE is an evolving community and I am both part of their wellness initiative and operating as an independent contractor and tenant alongside 2 other incredible therapists. Learn more about the HIVE here: HIVE info .
My office is accessed through a private entrance, separate from the entrance to the HIVE, and clients will be able to park in our lot and access the private offices at the back of the building without having to interface with others. The office is located in Downtown Santa Rosa on 4th Street and is accessible via public transportation.

YES! I see clients with insurance through Headway and am currently credentialed with Aetna, Cigna and Blue Shield. I am currently waitlisted for Anthem Blue Cross, Carelon (includes Norcal Kaiser) United Health Care, Optum, and Curative, and hope to be credentialed soon. I am waiting on credentialing with MediCAL.
I am able to take private pay and can provide a monthly superbill to submit for out-of-network reimbursement— many PPO plans reimburse a meaningful portion.

Yes, for a limited number of spots. If the full fee isn't workable for you, please just say so on our call. It's a normal conversation and it won't impact treatment or our relationship.

Yes — I see clients by secure video anywhere in California, and many people mix in-person and online sessions depending on the week. I value in person sessions, especially when establishing a therapeutic relationship. As I am fond of saying, 60% of my approach is vibes… but I can translate a lot of that energy into virtual care.

Twenty-four hours' notice and there's no charge. Later than that, the full fee applies, though I'll always try to reschedule you in the same week first. Please keep in mind that I rarely can fill spots with short notice, which has a significant impact on my livelihood.

Honestly, it depends. Some people come for a focused stretch of a few months around one thing; others stay longer. We'll revisit it together rather than letting it drift.

Everything runs through a secure client portal, Simple Practice — intake paperwork, scheduling and billing. The link to scheduling a consultation call will establish you with the platform or I will send a link after our first contact.
